Moris Chemical (Shandong, China) was established in 1996 as a stock company specialized in the manufacture and distribution of fine chemicals.
Moris Chemical manufactures in 5 sites at Bohai Chemical Park ( Shouguang , China ) for intermediates, fire retardants, detergents, new materials, and bio-chemcials. Moris has 5 trade affiliates/subsidiaries in Weifang, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and U.S. Moris business is managed through its administration, accounting, technology, marketing, and operation departments, under the guidelines that a company should be based on manufacture, strengthened by R & D, activated by trade, and controlled by management. Moris chemical currently employs more than 1,000, of which technology and management specialists account for 90%.
Moris chemical is now focusing on the R&D, manufacture, and distribution of bromine products, which fall into 6 categories by function: fire retardant, pharmaceutical intermediates, agchem retardants, photosensitive additives, and dyestuff intermediates. The major products are tetrabromo bisphenol A, bromopropane, butyl bromide , 1-Bromo-3-chloropropane, phenethyl bromide, carbonate oligomer of tetrabromo bisphenol A, 3, 5-Dibromo-4-hydroxybenzaldehyde, profenofos, and 4-bromo-2-chlorophenol, with combined capacity of 60,000 m .t./year. The products are being sold to U.S., Japan, Korea, and Europe. Moris chemical has begun to extend its product lines into chlorides and fluorides, targeting high-tech and high value added.
